Fremont Universe plugged our August art walk event, from our live musician at Lenin and Fremont Arts Council's felt corsage-making booth at Lenin Square to our many other exhibits around the neighborhood.  Read up on their recommendations HERE.

Fremont First Friday Art Walk was added to yelp! in August 2011, presumably by one of our dedicated attendees (thanks Sweet P!).

The Fremocentrist points out some of the prime features of August's Fremont First Friday Art Walk line-up, including one man band Nick Moyer (on accordion, trumpet, and suitcase drums performing live at the Lenin statue), textile art at ArtFX Gallery, cigar box guitars at Fremont Cigar, tile art at Pie, illustrations at Portage Bay Goods, paintings at Johnston Architects PLLC and Renaun Design...the list goes on.

Kirby has a chat with a flourishing local business Brown Paper Tickets, who just moved their bright and cheery offices to 36th Street in Fremont.  They'll be joining our Fremont First Friday Art Walk line-up with visual arts and live music in July of 2011!

Fremont Universe once again touches on a few of the exhibits and happenings to look forward to at our July installment of Fremont First Friday Art Walk, not the least of which is the Fremont Arts Council's zombie make-up booth in preparation for the annual, Guiness Book of World Records-breaking, most patriotic of all zombie infestations known as "Red, White, & Dead".
